Same as anything else, don't put it close to flammable stuff like furniture or drapes. Don't lay stuff on it. I pretty much keep mine in the middle of the room behind the couch about 2 ft away. It has wheels and I have it on a carpeted floor and the carpet is fine.Originally Posted by scaphiopus
