Is it like I just plug the UTH into a thermostat and like this into electricity and just set the right temperature? Our house already has the "cold" end temperature so I just need to create the warm spot.

I'd also strongly suggest a digital temp gun to take temps in the hides and all over the warm sides . The dial on the stat / thermostat is just there for a guide and CANNOT be relied on at all ... You use a good thermometer to check the surface temps ( either one with a wired probe or a digital temp gun - ideally both ) .
