Sounds like you have it spot on.
Im suprised you get the Heat Lamp to get a large glass tank like that up to 80 ambient. I have a 33 long and I use a RHP because a Bulb/CHE just woulnt hold 80+ temps at ground level good enough in the winter even with 3 sides insulated and 3/4 Plexiglass lid.

The temp in my apartment is a scalding 78 degrees as is I do it for my animals tho lol. I keep the heat lamp to make sure it stays at 80!
