Alright heres the story, my friend was talking to about sankes in one of his clases and mentioned he wanted a bp. The chick said she has three that shes selling. By the way, the kid that was doing the talking didnt know to ask the usual questions like if its wild caught or captive bred. To make a long story short we ended up going to this girls house who has animal licenses out the ying yang, lions, tigers, emus and three 15+ft burms and my friend ended up buying a ball. I myself have a baby ball and a columbian redtail, so i kind of knew what to look for in the snakes. he was about to get a very cool looking ball with very high yellow marks, but i inspected it and found two ticks on it. I made him get another one. He has had it for about 5 days now and we fed its first meal today. I want to know if there is a possibility of it having anything wrong with it, and also what are some norma procedures to carry out when dealing with wc's. I kinda want to go back and pick up the other snake but im skeptical and dont really feel like have a big vet bill to get it treated. Please drop some knowledge on me.
