so i come home today to find one of my het tri-stripes has passed away. at this iotm ei'm not sure if it was the male or female. however i did notice that this death is very similar to one i had a few months ago. I had just hatched my first baby from a lesser to lesser pairing. we had lost the whole clutch and almost lost the last baby but we cut the infected yolk sac early and she managed to live for a grand total of 3 weeks. now during these 3 weeks the umbilical did not fall of, she did not shed, and she would not eat. she was also born with a deformed tail and 2 spinal kinks near her end. the first 3/4 of the bp were perfectly formed. she did manage to pass urite once. after 3 weeks i came home to find her belly up and dead with a dark black patch under her belly scales. now i didn't manage to get a pic of this at the time however i did grab pic of this poor tri stripe. does anyone have a clue what this is and /or how i can fight it so it doesn't happen again.
