    She is usually in the middle closer to the cool side when male is not in with her.

    Twice at the most but somtimes even withoutba lock I still only pair once a month, lock is not the only thing I look at, general interaction between the two, positioning etc.

    It is less encouraging than the opposite, a positive sign is when the male is on the top even if you don't see a lock it's either getting there or it has already happened.

    Keep paying attention to where your female is located in the tub, and take advantage of the weather, look for low pressure, cold front, storms etc.

    I just put my male in with my female. They have been laying together for an hour or more when one struck at the other. Is this something to worry about?
