Question Another rack thread... What's the cheapest rack maker?

I swear I've seen at least five "where to get a rack" threads on this forum, and I can't find the recent ones anymore for the life of me. :|

I'm looking for a rack that holds 5~6 sterilite 32 qt tubs (or whatever tub of equal or slightly larger size), with heat tape installed and that can be shipped. Where is the cheapest site to get this?

    Taking the rack plunge LOL.

I like the racks I have received from reptile basics. They do only hold four of the 32 qt size though, so you will need to buy two of them in your case. I'm sure you will find something cool to put in the two extra slots!

I also like the Reptile Basics Iris CB-70 racks. They come with belly heat and the tubs. When I ordered my AP racks in the past I had to find the tubs. What a pain.

Keep cash set aside to buy used from local Facebook reptile groups or Craiglist. Yesterday I got the following CSerpents racks from a local guy who is moving for $500, with heat and tubs:
    2 28 qt 5 Tub Stackable Racks
    1 28 qt 5 Tub Rack
    1 16 Tub V-18 Hatchling Rack
    1 41 qt 4 Tub Breeder Rack
    1 41 qt 5 Tub Breeder Rack

I'll have to clean and disinfect them but that's a small price to pay.

How about just buying some totes from Walmart and stacking them up in the corner, then cranking the room temp up to 85F with a space heater and forget about having a hotspot and thermostat. That's the cheapest, less than ten bucks a tub LOL. Better yet you can empty out your dresser and put the tubs in the drawers and you'll have an instant rack system HA!

"Cranking the room temp to 85" is a lot more expensive than you think, where I live LOL. That'll be the cost of a brand new rack in a day.

And the dresser/cabinet's drawers would have to be exactly 6 inches tall and 2 feet deep. Or 3 feet deep, if I go with 41 qt tubs.

I ended up finding a local guy called Taboo Exotics who makes PVC racks, but I got a 4 level 41 qt one... so Cake stays in his zoomed terrarium.

His difference in cost between a 4 level and a 5 level rack is apparently $310 and $440, which is weird. The 4 level was a prior named price. And then he adds that a 6 level is $450... His previously listed 9 level rack is $530. I said that I wanted a 5 level one, but the crazy difference in price between a 4 and 5 level obviously made me get the 4 level $310 instead. I didn't bother trying to negotiate the 5 level's price, because I think it is seen as rude for labor/creating type of work. But at least it's local and fully assembled upon pickup, so I don't have to struggle with assembly. LOL

Not understanding your point to this post?? You do know there are those that just heat the room, right?
    No hot spot
