    Yes. I use an accurate thermostat where the hot side is.

    And I meant "enough" as in to where the heat pad won't by chance heat up too much.

    Accirite doesnt make a thermostat, they make THERMOMETERS.
    You need to use that thermometer to measure the temperature under the substrate.
    Substrate is not meant to regulate how hot an area gets.
    Only a dimmer or thermostat can regulate your heat source.

    I have everything settled... I have a thermometer to accurately measure the temperature from directly where the heat pad is. I'm sorry if I confused you or something because I kept on confusing myself somehow on the words thermostat and thermometer. The hot side is at 90 degrees and the cold side is 79. I use probes and gauges but I mostly use the gauges because their more suiting for me.
