Hello, best snake for me?

So I know it will vary, but what is an average/fair price to pay for a large rat? And is it worth ordering online? (i'm thinking it's not)

My local Mom and Pop sells live large rats for $12. They don't carry frozen, but out new Petco does. I don't remember their prices, but I buy online. I pay $2 for Large and $2.25 for Jumbos.

For just one snake I dont don't know if you could take advantage of the pricing or not. I didn't go online until I had multiple snakes.

To defer the the cost of the freight you want to order in quantity. The shelf life of frozen is roughly 6 months. So you need to figure out that balance.
