    Mouth Bruising?

Hey! I'm new to snakes, and my baby ball python seems to have slightly darker scales at the very tip of her mouth, on the bottom jaw, but only there. I can't take pics right now, but I'll see if I can post them later. I just noticed this today, and she when she tried to eat 1 1/2 days ago she hit my tweezers twice, and when I was looking it up, some people said it may just be bruising, but I'm not sure? I'll try to look inside her mouth, but she is nervous right now cause I was trying to get a closer look at it earlier. My temps and Humidity are fine, I've double checked, and I don't think it's scale rot, but like I said, I'm new so I don't know. My phone is dead right now, but once it is charged enough I'll try to get a pic. Do you think it just might be bruising, that will go away after a while or a few sheds?

This should help with posting pictures. Not sure about the bruising but id say use your best judgement and try to put up pics for people to take a look at asap.

Sorry, but the pic you posted is aweful, cant really help w that pic. If you are thinking something is wrong, perhaps take snake to a vet.

From what I can see, it just looks like a natural coloration? Was the color not there before?

My BP has a sort of pinstripe-beard like marking running along his mouth. It's quite adorable.

    Re: Mouth Bruising?

Sorry there are several things it could be so i have no clue by just seeing a pic. Heck it could be ink from newspaper or mouth rot. If you examine the inside of her lip/mouth that might tell you more but thats not even a guarantee.
