That is a good move with the thermostat increase, but that still won't keep the ambient temp stabilized. Remember the jump start is a on and off programmed thermostat. While its a good thermostat to regulate the heat pad/ hot spot the lamp will be more efficient in controlling your ambient temperatures. Also, keep an eye on the humidity percentage with the lamp bc you may still have to make a adjustment for that.
