Things people say on Craigslist
So I always find it funny when poeple talk about "not having enough time" to care for one snake. As though it requires more than 15-20 minutes once a week to clean up after it and feed it. People make all kinda of weird claims on Craigslist, so let's post some of them here. I'm gonna start with this entertaining post that showed up a day ago about a homicidal corn snake:
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv...944763840.html
Here are a few choice excerpts:
"Was not told he would happily kill me and my entire family if given the opportunity."
"Drift wood climb he likes to purch in to plan his reign of death."
Sounds like this snake has quite the personality. I almost wish I could adopt him.

It's quite ingenious - makes you want to buy him just to see if you can tame him. That ad will be hard to top.

Re: Things people say on Craigslist
Well maybe the poor little corn snake would like to have a cleaner enviornment and a change of the filthy aspen. The old shed skin in the background needs to come out also. I wouldn't be surprised if the snake is suffering from poor hygenic enclosure. Buyer beware...
Stay in peace and not pieces.

I think he would tame down in a heartbeat with the right husbandry and care.

Some of them are just meanies though! My Garnet, a baby I've raised since 2001, is the only snake I have besides my amazons that I know will try to bite me at least every other time I have her out. Little she-devil!
(But I do agree with the basis of your statement that it's most likely to calm down with better care.)
