EXTRA Messy Feed
Today I fed my ball python a "small rat" and while this is usually what he eats with no problem, today was bad. I think the rat was a little too large for him and he made such a mess. He constricted so many times and with such force that the rat exploded and most of his guts came out. My python was such a mess, I mean guts and blood were everywhere, including all over Monty. After the 24-36 hour digestion period should I clean him off in a soak and do a deep clean of his cage or should I just leave well enough alone.
Thanks!

F/T?
Over cooked.
Clean it up before the smell makes you not want to clean.

****I feed him in a different tank and that one has been cleaned already. Should I clean the tank he lives in since everything was all over him?****

Re: EXTRA Messy Feed
Definitely over cooked, but he was constricting it to make it smaller it seemed. It was definitely a little too big for him.
The tank he's been fed in is clean already. I wanted to know if I should clean the tank he lives in after thw digestion period since he was covered in everything.

There is no reason to feed in another tank
