    BP and Two Hour+ drive

I am moving tomorrow morning. Snake and tank will be the last things I pack, and I'll be packing Cookie in a sheet and bag of mine that attaches to the passenger seat (a snake seat belt, if you will.)

I don't know how safe/recommended heat packs are, and since I'll be driving I cannot pay much attention to his temperature. Will he be fine without?

    Any recommendations?

You should have no problems with him in the car with you. Assuming you have the heat on to a comfortable temperature for yourself, the snake is very unlikely to have an issue.

For reference, here is shipyourreptiles's guide on temperatures and heat packs - Link

Don't use a heat pack in the car. Just make sure he's secure and that's all there is to it. If you're comfortable, he will be too.

+1 if you're keeping the car a comfortable heat you don't need to do anything extra. if it's cold where you live you might want to start the car early and let it warm up first before you load him in. I drove 6 hours from a reptile show in Monroe to my home with a bran new baby snake last year and the kid did fine. Kept him in the snake bag in the front pocket of my hoodie and he got plenty of warmth from my body heat.

I had snakes in the car before from pick up, was more concerned on the vibrations and stress.

    BP and Two Hour+ drive

Most of my snakes were long distance pick ups from 2-3.5 hours away at various times of the year. I did nothing special temperature wise. As others have said, if I was comfortable, they were too.

    Happy Trails

    Thanks all

Cookie is currently in his hide in proper humidity (finally) and proper warmth. No more spray bottles
