    Need info on thin BP

    http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...sgxzvavp8.jpeg

I was gifted a ball python from a coworker. She is a "het ivory" and "hasn't eaten in a month." She seems very thin and has a flat spot halfway down her back. I don't know if she has a kinked spine or if it's just because she's really thin. Any info on the morph or on how her health seems would be greatly appreciated. I have 4 other balls but am still fairly new to a lot of this.

'Het Ivory' would mean that she's a yellow belly. From the pic she doesn't look too bad...but could use a few good meals. Keep her quarantined from your others in case she has something she could pass on to them.

PS- also can't tell if she's actually yellow belly, would need a belly shot.

here is a belly shot, you can also see her flat spot kinda here too. (It's near my hand; I'm frustrated I can't get a good pic of it because it looks super unnatural)
    Thank you for your response

I'm not a great judge of Yellow Belly unless it's really obvious so I'll let someone else chime in on that one. All in all the snake needs some more weight and then a lot of those irregularities will probably pass, however significant weight loss after only a month of not eating is not normal. My male hasn't eaten in three months due to breeding season and he has only lost about 60 grams. If she doesn't start eating for you after you get her some good husbandry I'd suggest a herp vet visit if you can.
