    Re: Holes in egg boxes necessary?

    Really counter productive, the goal of using the egg box I'd to keep humidity in, holes will let it out.

    One common problem every year is that people with limited experience will have their eggs drying out.

    There is a fool proof way to incubate and it does not involve holes.

    As for venting I only open my egg boxes every other day starting 5 to 7 days before hatching. This year I was out of the country during that last week so I was not there to open the egg box every other day and the eggs hatch out perfectly.
