    Reputable Sites for Ball Python?

Hi there! I am looking for a reputable and good-reviewed website to buy a baby ball python. I am not looking for anything really all that special(morphs and such) I just want a male, baby ball python to love and care for and have as my own little baby. I was hoping you guys here could share some good breeder/site/store links to order from?

I have looked at sites such as snakesatsunset.com and found them to be reputable, but as I live in California, I'd be more comfortable with snakes shipping closer to me and not the hassle of having to come from Florida.

    Thank you in advance! ~

welcome to the world of BP's!

first, be sure u to read up on the care of ball pythons and got everything u need before u get the snake. Start here: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...ius)-Caresheet

second, u can check our breeders and retailer reputations here: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13 u can buy from a retailer like LLLreptile who's SoCal based with stores but there's also plenty of breeders. plenty of breeders here on this board as well. if u are not in a hurry, check out a reptile show/expo. u can see a whole buncha animals, chat with the breeder and inspect/choose the exact animal u want.

have fun shopping for your baby BP and don't forget to post pix.
    RIP Mamba

If you're on Facebook you should be able to find a local group who would be more than happy to help you out.

Another option is to use the MorphMarket. You can search for breeders by location on their MorphMap here: http://www.morphmarket.com/stores/map?cat=reps.

    Good luck in your search!

There's the Reptile Super Show coming up in Pomona on the 7th and 8th of January. Not sure if you're in the LA area, but I thought I'd mention it. There are always lots of gorgeous animals and you can usually get a better price on them there. And you avoid paying s&h, which can get expensive. They have normals as well as morphs.

I also recommend MorphMarket. They're awesome.

You will certainly see some fine examples if you click on that link in post #3 of this thread. Wear your sunglasses.

So are you planning to order a snake without parental consent? By doing so you would put yourself, the animal and the breeder in a bad situation https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...Me-Buy-a-Snake

Re: Reputable Sites for Ball Python?

My dad was fine with the idea, and then he ended up changing his mind and his reasoning. I am trying to figure out why he said no and tell him the reason why they aren't useless and are a good investment that I want.

He was okay at first. Then..

First he said he doesn't like snakes, then said that wasn't why.

Second he said that we have no space, then I made space.

Finally, he then used the excuse "they're useless" and was a no.

Well in captivity they are kinda useless.

They don't guard my house like my dogs.
They don't do anything but cost me money.
They don't care to see me.
They don't care for me to handle them.
They don't even move around enough to entertain me.

I keep them because I like them and find them interesting, but I can see your dad's pov too.
