I need help with my temps.

Our house has 3 bedrooms. I'd put Sammy in the master bedroom since all the air vents are blocked off. It's the quietest place in the house and warmest. No one lives in the room. Now flash forward to now. We rented one of our rooms. So now I have to sleep in Sammy's room (which I don't mind) but the thing that concerns me the most is him getting stressed by me (I tend to be loud in skype calls) and all the vibrations. Also, I've been having trouble getting the humidity and temps to a good level. Now with just the fan on the temp is fine but the humidity drops to the 40s (Keep in mind this is a stand alone tub setup). I use paper towels as substrate btw. However, for Christmas I am getting a boaphile plastics cage. Would this solve my problems? It has a RHP from RBI. I'm also going to use ReptiChip as substrate to bump the humidity. I hope that the RHP will let me warm up the hot side and ambient temps enough so I don't have to use my oil heater. Will the humidity still be a problem in a PVC cage with ReptiChip. My rooms is not the busiest room, but I'm afraid I'm stressing him out by being there. Thoughts, opinions? I want the best for my lil Sammy
