I'm VERY new to maintaining a BP, but I was having similar problems with heat and humidity. I live in the Northeast and my house was built in the 1700's so it's drafty. I solved my problem with thermal blankets draped over 3/4 of the top and let them drape over the sides. Before the blankets I had trouble maintaining 75 now it's consistently 86.. Not pretty, but effective
