Just wanna learn what i can

Howdy..most of yall know im new to the herp thing and thought of a few more questions..1.when should my bp poop?ive fed my Lucy about 6 times since i got her 4wks ago (she weighs 103g and is now eating fuzzy mice) &she has only pooped once that ive found..is that normal/ok?? Ive read different things so thought I'd ask..and 2.ive fed her twice with tongs and she's grabbed the prey mid section (she does have a wobble) she's managed to eat it both times, but isn't she supposed to take it from the head?why is she taking it mid section, and is that ok? When i say managed,i mean it took her almost 10 min riggling back and forth and pushing against the enclosure to help her out before she could get it down...she is defiantly settling in her home now, she never really curls in the pretty "ball" i see bp's do but she curls into a swirl and sits in her hide all day long..i appreciate all yalls help so far btw!! Below ill post a few pics of her enclosure and her for those who haven't seen her yet 😊 shes a black eyed leucistic..idk much other than that ive looked at MANY but i can't tell the differences..im learning slowly the patterns and such lol

    1) She should poop when she needs to. If your snake doesn't poop for a while- expect a big one.
    2) Sometimes young snakes make silly mistakes. She'll figure it out eventually.

1/ Should he yes when ready (there is isno schedule) but it's not gonna happen any time soon if you keep underfeeding your snake, even out of the egg they eat a prey much larger than a fuzzy (they eat hoppers), at this size your BP can eat an adult mouse.

2/ The reason the prey is grabbed sideways can be various from having a hard time recognizing a fuzzy as a prey since it is way to small to not applying enough heat on the head (I assume you feed f/t since you use tongs).

Forward, backward, sideway does not matter so long they eat, it just makes it more difficult eventually they get it right.

I started feeding the fuzzies because i was told she was eating pinkies when i got her and it seemed too small, the fuzzies are leaving a decent lump in her belly though(shes feeding every 4-5days) so still a larger prey?? &yes shes eating F/T

Yes he needs a larger prey, again even out of the egg they eat prey bigger than fuzzies, at this wait he is ready for an adult mouse, and easy way to tell what to feed is to feed a prey equal the birth size every 5 to 7 days until the animal is 500 grams.

Is it possible they meant she was on pinky rats? Much bigger than a pinky mouse.

Always better to switch to rats as soon as possible

I would go to large rat pups or small fuzzies if I were you.
