New BP Owner-- BP age question
I am a brand new owner of a Ball Python, so any info is greatly appreciated! My question is, what is the typical age of baby BP's purchased from a pet store? I have a female BP named Jayde, and I am trying to get a general idea of her age. The person at the store advised that she had just come in the day before so she needed to be fed, however I did not ask the age and now I am curious. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

They are usually under a year but an exact estimate would be impossible since they get animals year round from large breeders and breeders can have animals hatching year round.

Thank you for the info. I know I saw in my research where the general weight/length may give an idea of the age but I was not sure. My son wants to know her 'birthday'

Sadly weight does not mean much since there is a lot that comes into play such as weight out of the egg, how fast the animal is started, prey type offered, feeding frequency, skip meals, fast.
You can for example see and animal that is a year weighing at 300 grams while another might be 1200 grams that is a huge difference.

^Second that!^
I bought Morty, my pied, at Petsmart... His weight was ONLY 155g and to the best of my ability I estimated his age at 9 mnth (based on his paperwork, not his weight)...
