Wow. That's a long time. I usually just leave them completely alone until the next day and it's always been fine. I've even had to go in and scoot her over to a fix a hide that gets flipped over shortly after feeding. I try my best not to hold until 48 hours afterwards but I will always clean up messes as soon as I see them regardless of how much earlier she ate. Never been bit by her.
