    I originally had the UTH thermostat probe in the tank and had to move mine as well, The process is easier than it seems.If you kept it inside the tank (aside from the danger of it getting wet) It wont stay stuck to the glass because of the substrate and the snake moving around, which is the bigger pain to deal with. I've been using a temp gun from amazon, it lets me check the surface temps of everything
