Just a few more days to go! Pieds are what made me switch from little colubrids to balls years ago even when I couldn't afford one. Now I'm so proud to have several in my collection along with this lady due to lay in a few days! Then I'll be counting down to the beginning of Feb!



I did one quick last tub cleaning since she spilled water. I'm guessing about 6-7 eggs by the first 3 I could easily see when I held her up. They start right above her "beauty mark" and were really visible irl but I didn't want to hold her up for more than a few seconds to get a better picture.

There weren't any in the early morning when I left for work every time I notice she has shifted position I get excited. Not sure why when I still have until beginning of Feb to get REALLY excited. Hoping I missed my super phantoms ovulation and she's in prelay shed now too otherwise I have a while til more eggs after these.

Still nothing! She definitely has normal sized eggs in her and now being so late I'm getting paranoid they'll be bad or she's egg bound as its her first clutch. I even had a bad dream about her so I'm probably just obsessing too much. She's still hugging the heat in a perfect coil and not shifting much so fingers crossed that changes soon! Anyone have good stories about laying around day 40?

Don't start worrying yet. 40 days isn't late yet. My last two clutches were laid on day 44 and 48 and not a single slug between them. I've head of them going 50+ days and lay a healthy clutch.
