I just wanted give y'all an update...i think i found her a home! my bf's brother knows this guy who kept a ball python for 10yrs (until it passed away, damn should i be asking how old it was when he got it?) anyways, this man also had an exotic bird for nearly thirty years..a few months ago it was killed, by a stray cat, through it's cage.
Can you imagine? Ugh, that just sounds awful. Hopefully, he will pan out as a good home for Ms.Snakey and she can help him heal

Are there any magic words when it comes to determining if this is a good home for her?
Of course I'd touch on the basics, but I'm somewhat naive in this situation, too.

I'm sure if you just ask him what temps he would keep her at, what and when he would feed her, how he would house her, and the humidity - and he knew, she would be fine. I would ask him his input before just telling him how you care for her though to get an idea of if he even knows what he is doing remotely haha. Also I would have him handle her in front of you and see how he holds her.
