Happy Thanksgiving: Herp related things you are thankful for

Since my family wouldn't get it if I said these things at the dining table tonight, here are the herp related things I am thankful for:

Snake related things I am thankful for:

That my little mojave boy is in the blue, which means he is FINALLY going to poop! He looks like a stuffed sausage.

That my pastel male didn't nail me the last time I fed him. He has a crazy feeding response but not always the best aim.

That my big girl shed out that ugly scrape on her face.

That my lesser hit the magic 1500 grams this month!

That my new addition made it through the night and has better strength today

    Happy thanksgiving!

Cool Re: Happy Thanksgiving: Herp related things you are thankful for

I'm thankful for my snakelets. They are the reason I'm off my blood pressure medication. I'm thankful for everyone here, because you all have helped me be a successful BP mom. I'm thankful for my son, who has given me solid moral support, even though he doesn't necessary "get it." Have a wonderful day, peoples!

I'm thankful for the joy my snakes bring me and for the herp community. I'm also thankful for the lessons of patience and stillness that I learn from keeping my critters.

I am thankful that I have access to one of the top exotics specialist veterinarians in the nation, without whom I undoubtedly would have lost one of my female retics earlier this year.

I'm thankful that none of my snakes have gone off food (at least yet) and that they took the switch to f/t so well.

I'm thankful for being able to keep snakes again. Also thankful that I was able to buy one that I've wanted for a long time. Will be delivered next week. I'm pretty stoked.
