For a hatchling or young ball python, that is too deep. ... not saying they can't survive in that, but they would feel much more secure in a lower roofed enclosure.

Ya know what? Never mind. This whole snakekeeping world is based off of personal opinions. So if you wanna keep a BP in a tub that deep, have at it. ... I've just studied a LOT on Ball Pythons and I know what all of the super experienced people say suits them best. .. but you're right COLUBRID, they could live in that I'm sure.
