I bought a really great used rack and new thermostat. Because she was getting out of the hobby, the seller would only sell the rack along with a young genetic stripe BP.
He arrived tonight and is very thin. I can easily feel his spine. When I asked her about it she said that he was regularly fed with her, but not by the previous owner.
My original plan was to flip him and find him a good home. However, there is no way I would do that based on the shape he is in.
He is currently in quarantine and his husbandry is spot on. I will be bringing a fecal into my vet as soon as he produces a specimen.
Besides these things, is it business as usual as far as his needs and feeding schedule, or is there something else I can do to bring him back to a healthy weight?
Sorry this was so long winded. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I really want to do everything I can to get this little guy healthy
