Advise. I would get it off of the aspen substrate. Use paper towels and change them frequently. The biggest risk to the snake is going to be infection. Keep putting the ointment or whatever the vet prescribed on the wound, keep it clean and good luck.
WOW! Best of luck with this ordeal. At least she didn't get the eye....I have heard horror stories of people trying to remove stuck eye caps with tape and ripping eyes out.

How awful! Definitely get him out of that employee's hands ASAP before anything else happens.

He's not home with me though. He's with the store's vet and I WILL be checking in on him regularly. Like probably daily if we're honest here.

I wouldn't trust the stores vet but that's just me.
0.1 normal ball python(Iris), 0.1 crested gecko(Rusty leaf), 1.0 quaker parrot(Andy), 1.1 cats(misha and Ivan), 0.2 tarantula(fluffy and lilly), 1.0 beta fish(henry).

My guess is the "S" is silvadene (silver sulfadiazine). Normally it's only available by prescription but http://www.mountainside-medical.com/ will sell it without one. It's one of the better topical antiseptics for reptile wounds.
