To do it legally you will have to go through an exporter most likely. I know that's how you have to do it to go from Europe to the USA. Each country is different, but you can't just ship it yourself or take it on the plane...legally....I stuffed my snake in a pillow case into my shirt when I flew domestic once (pre 9/11).
