I have gotten a new hatchling ball python a few days ago, and I'm sure it's nothing but my other two pythons have a smooth taper from their vent to their tail while this female has a sort of abrupt thinning right at her tail (her body being much bigger than her tail). I've heard this can be an indicator of obesity in balls, but she's just a hatchling, so it seems unlikely she'd already be obese. Should I hold off in feeding her for a week or two or continue feeding her on a 5-7 day schedule?
