. It's the genetic defect that is known to occur with the super butter/ lesser complex ( BEL). It's called " bug eyes" where the eyes of the animal protrude out and away from the head. Most times it's a cosmetic appearance issue more than anything else. However there have been rare instances when individual BEL animals have had extreme cases of other eye issues. I doubt that this is your case but I just wanted you to be advised.

She's a Super Mojave. Her dad was a BEL (butter x mojave) and her mom was a mojave.

Good to know, thanks. I don't know what a lesser is, so I wasn't sure if it pertained to her mix.

    Baby shed??

This is not necessarily true for all babies. Shedding is dependent on how much the snake is eating and how much he's growing. Babies usually do shed more often since they eat a lot and are growing quickly but still it doesn't mean that they will shed every 2-3 weeks. Each snake grows at his own pace so shedding schedules are not set in stone.

To the OP your snake will shed when it's ready and the high humidity for a while won't affect your snake negatively as long as the snake isn't sitting on wet substrate.
