My boa has those same lines. He isn't lazy, but he has them. My carpet got them when she got stuck in a tight space and it took a few sheds to go away. Our royal never has them and my retic is too young right now.
Retics have thin skin, at least when younger and I'm not sure how much it thickens with age but I would suspect the issue is what everybody, including myself believes it to be.
