    A compromise

Boy, Irwin really likes the climbing tree I put in his tank, like way more than he likes being handled sometimes.
Well, you know what they say, "If the mountain will not come to Muhammad..."

lol, yeah I stood at his tank for a while trying to gently unwrap his tail end before he could find a new spot t grab with his front end all the while trying to figure out what direction his middle was going.
I call it "the linear lambada".

That tree is a bit big for a T8. If it did fit, it would be rubbing the top of the enclosure. Most of the boa owners on the forum go with T11s or larger to provide them with space to do their thing. My boyfriend and I like the T13 enclosures. They're a bit pricey, but fantastic with the shelf option. And the bigger you go, the less likely you are to need to upgrade in the future!

It looks great and I'm always a fan of climbing snakes.

Why I don't own something completely arboreal is a mystery LOL!

Nice job with the mini tree!

Thanks, honestly it was a total impulse-buy, and it really is too big for my tub lol. but Irwin likes it well enough and it will be fine in a larger enclosure eventually. My only complaint about it is that it is a bit top-heavy, its just hollow resin, i sort of want to fill the bottom with sand or something. right now i actually have a suction cup zip tied to the top and stuck to the side of the tub, though its not really necessary i've found, since in this set-up the top is wedged into the corner and cant really go anywhere.
