Problems with Tapatalk?

So the past few days I've been having problems making posts, replies or even viewing threads through my tapatalk app. When I try to post it'll give me a "duplicate post" error and when I try to open threads it errors out with "bad gateway"... has anyone ever experienced this that uses tapatalk?

Wow, the whole format has changed! Very confusing.

I just use Tapa to post pics, but had no problem typing this.

Most of the times I've had issues, uninstalling and reinstalling Tapatalk has solved the problem.

EDIT: Tapatalk seems to change their minds on formatting often. At first it drove me nuts. Now, I've gotten used to their indecision and just roll with it. Gotta love fast moving 3rd party software companies.

Lol, thanks guys. And yeah uninstalling and re installing fixed the issue, for now.. I was beginning to freak out because in terms of ease of uploading pics, it just can't be beat.

TapaTalk is a brilliant app but I wish they'd leave perfect alone rather than keep changing . A little modification is fine but it's lie a different bladdy program after some updates .

Something seriously annoying that Tapatalk does is bring up old threads. There will be a thread that hasn't been posted in for MONTHS and Tapatalk will have it in the Timeline (or participated if, ya know, you had participated in it) and it'll say "2 hours ago." WHICH IS ANNOYING. Here is an example..

Like, is the 2 hours wrong or is the date wrong???!? -_-

Neither are wrong. A thread with a poll has two ways of being participated in - by either replying or by voting in the poll. It works the same way on the main boards. It just seems a little more crazy with Tapatalk when you don't realize that there's a poll attached to the thread you're seeing because Tapatalk doesn't show the polls.

On a related but slightly different note, I have have major issues with this site on my computer (mac, Sierra) when using chrome. I don't use Tappatalk, I actually use the mobile chrome app on my phone, and it has been fine. But on my computer I get that bad gateway messages for every thread I try to open, on safari it works fine

Clear your cookies and load again. See if that fixes things for you.
