Aww, it's always nice when your pets enjoy something you got for them

I had a teacher back in high school who owned (along with other reptiles) a rescued savannah monitor named Baby. Baby is probably the most expressive savannah I've ever encountered, she really seemed to seek out and enjoy attention, and actually preferred to be carried about on her back cradled like a baby (hence the name); she would actually flip herself over in your arms so she was belly up. Well Baby had a ball pit we would put her in when it was time for cage cleaning and she LOVED this ball pit. And I really do hesitate to say the word love when it comes to reptile emotions, but she obviously had a huge affinity for her kiddy pool ball pit.

We'd sit her down in it and immediately she would start wiggling her body to sink into the balls. She liked to cruise around and would eventually rest with just barely her nose poking out from the surface, almost like she was soaking lol. And she was always so reluctant to go back in her cage afterwards. Such a character.
