They may not mind but I certainly would. LOL!

Lol I did at first but I use aspen so I don't really notice it too much anymore although now that Bean Farm doesn't carry the 7 cu ft bails of aspen anymore, I got no where local to pick it up and i'm not paying $130 for shipping alone for like 3 bails of it. I'll probably be switching to ReptiChip as the people I've talked to love it for their boas, retics and BPs and say it isn't a sloppy muddy mess like Eco Earth is but still holds humidity really well. Only downside I've seen is one gal told me it's kind of a pain to clean out when you do full cage cleanings.

I just switched to a reptichip competitor recently and like it. It is a bit harder to see smaller pee messes because it's a dark substrate but it's incredibly absorbent and holds humility very well. I got two blocks of actual reptichip but am working through the rest of what I already have the moment. I've been told reptichip is less dusty than the competition, what i have has a good bit of dirt/dust. Hides odor pretty well too.

Nice! So to derail this for a minute, how do you like the stuff jmcrook? Is it pretty dust free? And I'm assuming its larger pieces and not a bag of coffee grounds like Eco Earth? I got 2 bails of aspen left but will do the ReptiChip after since its only $10 for shipping now matter the amount. How often do you change the stuff out? As in how do you know when it is getting gross? I tend to take my snakes out a lot and I really don't want a pee soaked poop coated snake on me or my furniture lol. That's why I change out all my aspen every month or less if they go nuts with the piss and poo.

Yeah it's big mulch type chunks about 1/2". I spot clean daily-every other day and do full clean outs every month-two or sooner if needed. It's super absorbent, no pee stinky snakes by any means. I'm pretty sold on the stuff at the moment.

I prefer the older ones, just seemed a bit better IMO, though I have no basis to support this.
