You still didn't answer my question: HOW are you measuring your temperatures???

If you are using a stick on gauge? Are you using a probe thermometer? Using a temp gun?

You need to check your temperatures on the hottest surface your animal can touch....... This would be under the substrate.
Your heat mat is probably well over 100+ degrees.
A heat mat used under the enclosure is used for a hot spot and when properly regulated does nothing for ambient temperatures.
Okay so I unplugged the heat mat for now but the thing I'm using to get the temps is a digital thermometer like the ones you can place inside his enclosure and will read how hot it is in there but thanks you for the picture diagram that way I know how to set everything up when I get it I'm also going to purchase a thermal gun to measure ground temps as well cause I'm thinking the digital one is reading air temp not ground temp as you said
