Does companies on Morph market ship to Japan?

As the title says. Snakes in Japan are pretty expensive and the bps on morph markets are way cheaper. So my question is does any one ship to Japan. I understand that most of the companies are in the US and Canada thus the snake has to survive at least a 10hour flight if not longer. I was wondering if this was an option or are we limited to local shops and reptile shows.

Btw reptile shows prices aren't so bad but local reptile stores are crazy I've seen het orange dream go for 800 plus. I mean it's not even a visual. Reason I'm asking is my gf is looking to own a banana ball python and the price for that is around 10000 yen which is about 1k. Now at the show we went to a BEL went for 1k which I thought was reasonable. Sorry I'm new feel free to correct me if. Wrong but I'd imagine a BEL should be more expensive than a banana. My bad for the long post. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Bells around my area go for 250 -300 and banana males go for less but females go for more

I would say your best bet to know for sure is to inquire to the specific seller. My guess would be that most are just us and Canada though considering international laws and live pet, across the ocean, shipping is just easier not to deal with

The reason people don't ship to Japan is the wildlife export laws not the flight itself. If we here in the USA want a snake from Europe we have to go through a third party exporter who has all the licenses to transport live animals from one country to another. Every country has different export/import laws that you would have to contend with.

You'd need to inquire to the specific sellers. Most are smaller individuals and as such do not have the capacity to ship internationally. There are several, though, that advertise on MorphMarket that do have this ability.

I suggest you do some more homework on ball python morphs so you don't get taken advantage of. The reason I am suggesting this is because there is no such thing as a "het Orange Dream" (in the industry standard terminology, that is). Orange Dream in an incomplete dominant morph, and as such it's either visually present in the animal, or it's not there at all - there's no "het" middle ground.

I'm not set up for export so when I want to ship outside the US I need to use a broker and the fees, permits, etc. usually cost around $1,000 or so. It's also been a few years since I've done it so it could cost more at this point. It would need to be a very good order to make it worth while.

Re: Does companies on Morph market ship to Japan?

Thanks for the response. As far as I've read it says that wild life has to go through the japanese animal quarantine service (AQS) and when I check there it says that snakes coming into Japan requires no quarantine checks. Which I thought was promising. But perhaps I'll go ahead and email companies I'm interested in buying from and see if they do. I figured maybe there's more to it than just that is what I was thinking. Like snakes getting sick on the way here or other paper work I'm not aware of.

BEL for 300 is insane wow so lucky!

Yea I should do research for the morphs but if that's what's only available in Japan I have to go with the Japanese prices since other options like shipping may not be available.

Also, on MorphMarket, there are icons designating which sellers have international shipping capacity. On the page here - http://www.morphmarket.com/stores?cat=reps - the ship icon under the seller's name indicates this. If it is gray, they do not. If it is black, they do. I'd still send the ones in black an email to confirm, of course.

There are many breeders who export however you will need to spend $1000 for shipping alone and, usually breeders will have a minimum order of $5000.

I've seen het orange dream go for 800 plus. I mean it's not even a visual.
No such a thing BTW, OD are co-dom.
