Awkward...
Ok....
So I know it doesn't really matter if you misgender a snake...
But I'm starting to think "he" is actually a "she" based on how tiny the tail is and how small the spurs are still...

You cannot sex BP visually they are not like Hognose, they need to be pop or probe.

Yea probed or popped is the only way to sex your BP. No other way, at least not that I'm aware of.

Both my snakes spurs are about the same size, definitely nothing to do with gender there.

Attempted the pop test. I did it like four times and got no result. I don't know if I was just doing it wrong.
My friend who had her a couple days came over and attempted as well. She didn't pop any hemipenes either. But she said it's been a while since she sexed her retic (so she could sell him) so she is unsure about those results too.

How many times have people told you to stop over handling your snake and you decide to try your hand at sexing for what exactly? Does it make any difference whatsoever what sex your snake is, today? Smh.

Why do you continue to do EVERYTHING you've been advised NOT to do. Leave the poor snake alone, correct your husbandry and let your snake have a stress free life.
I really think you should rethink even having a snake; I'm really beginning to feel sorry for the snake.
