Hi, all. So I'm just going to get right down to it. My BP (who is a little over a year old) has very suddenly started to lose weight. He was 1102g one day, then 1035g another day (maybe after passing some LARGE urates, maybe before, Idk) and then he went to 998g after a HUGE poop and now he's at 977g just randomly. About two days after the huge poop (which was a normal, healthy poop). He still seems to have his appetite. He's been eating fine recently. Idk what could be going on unless I've made a weighing error? His temps are 88-92 on the hot spot, roughly 78-81 on the warm side and in the mid-to-low 70s on the cool side. He's got a warm hide, cool hide, and humid hide and his enclosure was recently cleaned about two weeks ago.
I just switched him to feeders that are roughly 100g each and he downs them just fine, but last time he took some substrate down with his meal. (He eats f/t rats.) Idk if that could have anything to do with what's going on, but yeah.
I wanted to to see if any of y'all have some advice or insight to give. I don't want to stress him out with a vet visit if I don't have to, and I don't have a poo sample to take to a vet because the last time he pooped I threw it away. I didn't know he would have this issue. (For extra info, he only had two rats in his belly when he pooped last and he usually has three or four.)
*Sigh*
