Sizes is a pretty subjective topic, so it's really your choice after you do research.
I use sterilite tubs. I've grown up my hatchlings in 15qt until around ~450g, and move them to 32qt for life for an average male. New tiny hatchlings can also go in 6qt for a little while.

I'd recommend getting an ARS-7030. I use them for hatchlings and put them way in the back and dig a hole in the Reptichip substrate. Then as they grow they fill up the tub, an adult can live in it. If you breed you may want to get a hatchling rack to hold babies until you can sell them. You can also buy them by the level, I just have four rows of the ARS-7030 and stacked it on top of an ARS-8018. It's the rack that the pros use, comes with heat strips, built like a tank. The resell value is incredible. I would never buy a cheap rack, I'll save my money and buy only the best, something I can hand down to my grandkids LOL. This is what all the high end pro breeders use. I'd say take your time and build up the best racks, even if you get just one rack for a collection of snakes it's well worth it. You can't even find used ones because they sell as soon as they post.

While I still have some 6 quarts tubs racks My best rack use v18 tubs, it allows me to go straight from v18 to v70 or 32 quarts tubs, as hatchlings can remain in v18 until they are 600 grams.

6 quarts are great too especially for animals that you move out fast however when have holdbacks or animals that do not sell as fast v18 is a better option.

I have some old AP racks and some C-Serpents as as I prefer enclosed rack and need racks to my specific measurements for my snakes. Not a fan of powder coated racks like ARS, as I have seen the results after LONG time use..

Now in the same style than ARS , freedom breeder and their stainless steel racks is better.

Customer service and lead time wise Freedom breeder and c-serpents are by far the best.
