    I am also a big fan of Normals vs the artificially selected specimens. However it's only fair to acknowledge that without the 100's of designer patters/colors available today the hobby would be nowhere near as large as it has grown. This very forum itself could never have reached 50k+ members without morphs. Case in point just look at the relatively small number of hobbyists involved with Garters, Bloods, Boas, etc, vs those involved with BP's. It's not because of the Normals.

    Also, at least one experienced hobbyist advises against breeding Normals, and he has some valid points. Listen for yourself:
