Yea i kept looking at rack systems cause they save so much space and are super convenient but i also still wanted a visual/display aspect. I couldnt really find anything that would fit together in the dimensions i wanted so i was like what the hell I'll build my own. And the shelf itself wasnt really expensive at all to build. The plexi however is a bit on the pricey side so I'd say if you go this route a more cost effective way is to use tanks or clear tubs if you can find your desired dimensions.
