I had a hard time finding the Bearded Pets thing on FaunaClassifieds at first, so I assume others might have trouble. So I'll just link to a topic about them. They sound horrible. Definitely don't deal with them sk8er.

A LOT of people who have been burned by Bearded Pets have posted on the BOI. If there were rankings on scam artists, Bearded Pets would definitely be #1. They were caught in numerous lies while trying to defend themselves in the thread, and then just stopped responding. Everyone who has purchased "hets" from them has received mite infested emaciated animals who won't eat... It's highly doubtful that they've been captive bred let alone het for anything. Don't waste another second of your time on these jokers.

If you want peace of mind, buy from a reputable breeder. Otherwise, buy from someone close enough that you can deal with in person so you can go wring their neck in case they try to rip you off. Buying hets is a risky business, and even riskier if you're trying to get them cheap. A lot of legitimate breeders have had to drop prices on their hets though, since all the scam artists have made it more difficult to sell them, so good deals do exist. You just have to really do your research and the BOI is a great place for that.
