I've heard that if you can pinch their skin and it doesn't "snap back" and just stays folded or pinched, it could be a sign of dehydration. Don't hold me to it though, and don't get all worried or anything. That's just what I remember reading somewhere.

As for squishiness, my babies pretty squishy around her stomach area. I think that's because theres no bones or anything to firm it up like the ribs and back area are. I dunno. If it is unhealthy, then I guess my baby needs something to firm her belly up.

    Funny moment for me atleast

Its not just his skin, its his flesh too I guess. I know what the dehydrated skin looks like, having seen that horribleness at a petstore in my area. This is different. The flesh is pinchable, I don't mean I am pulling it heard, but if I poke it lightly or pinch it lightly it squishes and is not firm. SHould it be that way? I wish I could do a digital vidio so you all could see what I mean. The vet did say that he has lost a little muscle tone and I have been struggling to bring it back up for a couple of months but this particular symptom has yet to change. His flesh seems loose. How do I know how he is supposed to feel?
