Congrats!! That was a long process, starting this thread in 2015! I just found it yesterday and read through the whole thing LOL

Breeding balls is not for the impatient, that's for sure. You have plenty of time between putting the two together and having the first baby ready to find a new home. But if you're really selective and make sure the animals are healthy and up to size, it can be very rewarding.

My guess based on the picture I see (I do prefer seeing animals in person usually) and I hate making guesses prior to shed also because as you know pre-shed and post shed animals look very different.
