My cousin and I split an order from perfect prey a couple months ago. I don't know if the mice arrived stuck together or if my cousin somehow screwed up storage a little but her husband had to break apart the mice. When she gave me my 25 mice, I had to defrost them a bit(in the fridge, worked great, the mice stayed frozen but I could separate them from each other). some of the mice had torn open when her husband separated them (she told me she gave me the ones that were still in whole), I put those over in the woods for some lucky scavenger to find, I don't feel like dealing with mouse guts...

My friend wanted to get in on our next order, but my cousin had ordered enough that they won't be ordering for a while, so my friend and I decided to split our own order. I asked around, got some web site recommendations, panicked at the shipping cost, found out there is no such thing as free shipping with frozen mice, did some more research on price and settled on:

Rodent Pro. They were, and maybe still are, running a flat rate shipping of $20. Now, I have a large freezer, and the financial ability, I ordered 250 mice and as my friend needs them she pays me for them.

Since I didn't see how the mice from perfect prey arrived, I have to assume they were a large mass frozen together, not so with the rodent pro ones. If dead, frozen mice can be beautiful, these are. they are packaged 25 to a bag, all separate from each other. I will definitely use them again. It worked out to $.80 a mouse.

Now, I know you said you have one snake, I did too (recently got my BP, have a corn also), my friend has one and if we just count the snakes my cousin has, she has two. Maybe you can find other snake keepers in your area who are also looking to get cheaper mice and you guys can go in on a bulk order together.
