    Not how you measure temps, you measure temp with a thermometer preferably temp gun or a digital one with a probe measuring the temp at the surface on each side. And of course you MUST have a thermostat to regulate those temps.

    You can ditch the dial devices in his enclosure both those are very inaccurate.

    I tried to get him to soak
    BP do not tend to soak and I don't advise to make him or bath him. You just need to work on humidity in your tank and there are several threads about this.

    Food wise there is definitely a need for an increase as the animal was being underfed by feeding fuzzy, even hatchlings out of the eggs get started on hoppers.
