He seems to like it cool though, the one time ambient got to 86, he climbed on top of his hide. During that span he's had two meals (one was small due to pet store inventory, and I'll feed him again tomorrow) I've held him 3 times; each time he's been more inquisitive and confident than the prior. Never hissed or struck out. He seems to like both hides and never paces, just sticks his nose out and licks the air when I check in on him.

Hopefully after this feed. Or, maybe he's just saving up to nail me during his next exploration.

I'm thinking if he doesn't let loose by the time he gets into shed, I'll give him a lukewarm bath and see it that uhh, helps things along...
Sounds just like my guy. Mine has shed though. I'm not sure i'd bathe mine , I feel like in our short amount of time together I may do more damage then good. Just my approach though Less stress the better IMO i'm sure they are trying to adjust to us WAY more than us to them. Maybe they are just not drinking a lot and the food that they are taking in , its used for "storage" as they are unsure and using everything to their benefit and not wasting much. So less waste and more to their nutrition because of uncertainty. I have no clue, this is all IMO and im sure we are all soon going to experience ARMAGEDDON and we will all know it. But they are eating and getting used to the new home, we could possibly have them 30 years or more , lets step back and pace ourselves on the entire experience.
